Welcome to 2020! Hopefully any resolutions you made are still on track. Here at AllPro, we’re making changes that while small, will have a big impact on your security and protection going forward.
What’s the big change you ask?
We’re no longer selling products that don’t actually protect you. Our industry is in trouble because clients “think” they are protected, when they are not.
We know you may not have the right software, proper security, or adequate protection to keep you as safe. When something happens, you’ll say “I though you were protecting me!” and we’ll say, “You didn’t have X,Y,Z, so you were only partially protected”, and you’ll say “So what have I been paying for!?” and It goes downhill from there. This is something we would like to avoid.
We’re selling things, but some of them don’t provide the protection you need. At some point liability enters the conversation because we were just selling you what you were willing to buy.
Antivirus alone doesn’t work. Updates left unchecked don’t get installed on schedule. Software updates are not applied. At the end of the day, you are not as protected as you think you are.
The entry level bronze and silver plans have been discontinued. These provided antivirus only or monitoring only, or partial system updates.
The biggest impact are for clients with 25 or less computers, where the bronze or silver packages no longer exists. For most clients, this is a small $4 average increase in the cost per machine. For clients with 100 machines, this is very noticeable, but most larger clients were already on a gold plan that provides proper protection.
