Desktop or laptop?

I had a customer ask me Friday if they should buy a laptop or desktop for their business. As with everything, there are pros and cons to both. If you work on the go and you need your PC for presentations, etc, then it may be beneficial to get a laptop. If you hardly go anywhere and just use the pc at your desk, then please get a desktop. Laptops cost more and have a shorter lifespan. They cost more to fix, and the parts are less interchangeable. Desktops will probably always be more powerful and easier to maintain. You really only buy a laptop for one reason, portability. You cant get it with a desktop at all. Make your choice based on the application and not whats boutique or in style.
