Windows 7 discontinued on January 14, 2020

The time has come. Windows 7 has roughly 11 months to live.

There is a ton of information available from Microsoft about this change, so we wont waste time listing it all here. The most important thing you need to know is using a Windows 7 computer after it is discontinued is a big security risk.

Waiting until the last minute to upgrade to Windows 10 (after Sept 2019) will probably cost you more than upgrading now.

Computer inventory will be low and manpower to upgrade will be low.

There are about 255 business days left this year. Our clients have 700+ computers still running Windows 7 (according to the report we ran.)

This means 2-3 computers would need to be upgraded every, single, day for the rest of the year to get everyone done before the deadline.
