Microsoft really wants everyone to use teams. I’m not against teams, but I don’t like being forced to close teams every time I reboot my computer.
Here are 3 easy steps to to stop teams from starting automatically:
1) Right-click on the Microsoft Teams icon on your taskbar’s system tray. If you don’t see the icon on the taskbar, click on the arrow-up icon on the status bar to reveal it. 2) Choose Settings 3) Uncheck the ‘Auto-start application’ option and close the Settings menu.
Viola! Teams will not auto start the next time.
